These solar systems are not connected to the electrical network and do not need the electricity grid in contrast to the systems connected to the grid and requires the storage of energy produced in batteries, and therefore the capacity of the batteries is determined in proportion to the amount of energy to be stored and the calculation of the loads required to be fed by the solar system.
The cost of these systems is much higher than the cost of the systems connected on the network due to the presence of batteries so are usually only needed in more remote areas that are far from the electricity grid.
